Those are really great images. You should be a photo journalsit. Sell your photos to a newspaper or something.

Why did they release the dam?

Yeah...I really need to take the test so I can do that. There is some money in it.

The TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) controls many of the dams in the area. Most all of the dams are hydroelectric and also serve as a means for flood control. There was some flooding but not minor for the most part. Without the dams there would have been major flooding with all the rain we got. Lake Chatuge was at it's highest level since 1973...and it was noticeably high.
